About the event
Join Knotty Orchid on a 10 week journey into the world of burlesque where you will learn the history, business, costuming, and performance skills necessary to enter the stage with a bang. Each student will create a brand new act during the session to be performed November 8th, 2025 at Whim Space in Northeast KCMO.
Not only do you get a 2hr class every week on Sundays from August 31sy to November 2nd, 2025 you will also get (2) one-on-one sessions with Knotty Orchid to work more closely on fine-tuning your acts. These one-on-one sessions will be student lead on what they need specific help learning or correcting.
Knotty Orchid is a Native Hawaiian and Latina performer native to Kansas City with (6) years of burlesque experience, (12) years of modeling and runway experience, (13) years of belly dance and theatre experience. She also runs a monthly show called Risqué…
